) has provided what Microsoft only promised, but did not yet deliver: A standalone full download of the .NET Framework source code:
And he even described how to use that source code with Visual Studio 2005!
A word of warning though: My first attempt do download John’s tool resulted in “Server is too busy”. So hurry up, there’s other people already lined up and the downloads may run out of stock
